WELDING AND NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING

The metal components that make up the so-called “standard” joints are joined together by means of “fillet welds” if requested, the “fillet weld” seam may be checked by non destructive tests using dye penetrants and magnetoscopic inspections.

With different preparation “butt welds” can be used. In this case, inspections by x-rays and ultrasounds can be carried out.

All welding processes are in accordance with ASME VIII and IX and are certified by independent and International Authorities.
